I had been so stressed from work I was having chest pains. It turned out my chest muscles were tight and knotted which Deb worked out and it was painful but good. She also greatly relieved my back pain from years of bike injuries. I was in an out of consciousness in a dream state which is rare for me to reach. To resolve this clients chest pain, I used techniques from Structural Integration aka/ Rolfing, Neuro-Muscular therapy. I was able to palpate the clients chest and feel where it was tight with my fingertips, then melt through the tightness with my thumbs.
For this clients chronic arm pain due to multiple biking accidents and decades of motorcycle riding, I perform Carpal Tunnel massage, which is one of the 17 modalities I'm certified in. Once again, I palpate the forearms to feel where they are tight, then apply pressure, melting through the tightness, returning the tissue to a more normal, pliable state.
